(Dynamic Network)
This document provides guidelines for dNet SysOps and
Rules for callers posting in dNet Conferences.

Rules for Callers
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
1) There will be absolutely no flaming outside of the flame conference.
If you flame anybody, for any reason, outside the Flame echo, you
will be permanently banned from dNet.
2) Aliases are strictly prohibited in all non-adult areas. Adult echos
may or may not use aliases depending on the Node Sysop's rules.
3) Please use quoting whenever possible, it helps others remember previous
discussions, however; please keep quoting down to enough lines to remind
the receiver what the original post was about.
4) Signature Lines are to be no more than two lines.
(They look neat, but they do take alot of space)
================================= CUT HERE ===================================
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
SYSOPS: Read these rules carefully. There is not a whole lot to remember
but what is here, is expected to be adhered to.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
1) Taglines - Your node must have a tagline that follows this format:
dNet : <Your BBS> : <Optional> : Your Node Number if FTSC
Your BBS Phone # if QWK
i.e. dNet: The RENEGADE! Home of dNet ■ 904-337-0841 ■ 25:25/0
2) Suspensions: If a moderator suspends a user on your system, it is
up to you to enforce the suspension. Failure to comply will
result in a disruption of your feed until you notify your hub
that necessary action has been taken
ii. Notice of all user Suspensions are to be fowarded to the offending
node's Net Coordinator immediately.
3) dNet Admin and dNet News - Must be carried by all nodes and all hubs.
All other echos are carried at the discretion of the node sysop.
i. After you are activated in dNet, you have 48 hours to post a message
in dNet Admin to announce your BBS. After 48 hours if there has not
been a post in Admin, your system will be deactivated. You may make
arrangements with your HUB to re-activate your feed.
ii. dNet News shall be a read only echo. Posts in dNet News shall be made
by the Network Administrator only.
iii. dNet Admin is open to all dNet Member SysOps ONLY!
4) Net Coordinators are completely responsible for nodes in their Net.
NC's may approve node applications so long as that application is received
by the Regional Coordiantor within 72hrs. NC approved access is temporary
and is contingent upon final approval from the Regional Coordinator.
(Usually within 48hrs.)
5) Node SysOps MUST require proof of legal age as required by the state in
which that node operates before granting access to ANY adult section of
this network to any caller / or other user. Failure to comply will result
in the adult portion of the offending nodes feed being cut.
6) All applications to become a moderator must be fowarded to the Regional
Coordinator (25:25/0) Just a message with the applicants name,
conference desired, and Age (if an adult echo) will do. RC's may
temporarily approve moderators, that approval is not final until confirmed
by the Network Administrator. RC's must foward approved applications
for moderator to the Network Administrator immediately after approval.
7) Any person that desires to host an Adult Echo MUST make arrangements
through their respective node SysOp to apply to the appropriate RC.
RC's may or may not require a voice call. Proof of age WILL be made to
the RC. RC's have the authority to temporarily appoint an applicant to
host an adult conference. The temporary status will be changed to
permanent upon the receipt of proof-of-age by the Network Administrator
from the RC.
8) Thes rules are not written in stone, they are written in the
Network Administrator's text editor, as such, they may be changed by the
"" "" "" "" "" any time, and for any reason.
9) If you have a sattelite connection and you wish to pull dNet from
sattelite, contact our Sattelite Regional Coordinator, 25:101/0@dNet
for information.
10) Node SysOps are _strongly_ encouraged to post messages regularly.
(If you aren't interested, your users won't be interested either)
